Here's what you can expect as a CWOW Clinical IT Liaison Manager (Product Owner) at DaVita:

The Product Owner is a member of the Clinical Business Team and is responsible for designing and driving new clinical IT functionality to be used in our dialysis centers. S/he contributes to the overall product strategy, vision, and roadmap. S/he works closely with a cross-functional team of clinical SMEs, business leaders, IT analysts, and user experience designers to define, build, and release a transformative “next generation” clinical workflow application to be used by 30,000+ facility teammates. This is New!

Candidates must possess exceptional skills in leadership, management, work ethic, critical thinking, attention to detail, presenting, and written/verbal communication. Ideal candidates will have DaVita experience and understand dialysis operations as well as how our current IT solutions support in-center work. The CWOW Team is currently focused on creating new IT functionality for Data, Reporting, and Analytics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Product Owner (general)

  • Supports the evaluation of current state operations in partnership with the clinical business and IT team to create a shared understanding

  • Sets vision of future state and develops product features and user stories for development (business requirements)

  • Partners with IT delivery teams on a very frequent if not daily basis by providing clarifications necessary to assist with user story estimates, sequencing of new features and moving the product design forward

  • Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and policies ensuring product complies with future industry requirements

Product Owner of Data

  • Identifies, documents, and maintains all known sources and process related to terminology, metadata, and master data

  • Creates and manages the project to move all these to one source and process

  • Defines and manages an intake process for change requests to these

  • Creates and manages a catalog of items that need to be transitioned from legacy clinical data to future clinical data (Continuity)

  • Creates and manages a catalog of analytical models that will interact with Davita’s new clinical system - CWOW

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 4+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Data, or Analytics.

  • Business Analyst or Tech Writer experience a plus

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Has direct user experience with Snappy, Chairside Snappy and Falcon Dialysis (preferred)

  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25% or more of the time
