Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr in Denver, Colorado
As a KOS Stan/Eval Staff Evaluator, duties include, but are not be limited to: - Developing/reviewing evaluation scripts, KOS Task lists (KTL), Training and Evaluation Performance Standards (TEPS), CODs and KOGs - Performing and documenting error investigations - Participating in GOP peer reviews - Administering formal evaluations and spot-checks - Maintaining the evaluations database - Tracking and reporting on crew force evaluation currency and progress - Performing error trending and developing corrective courses of action - Briefing KOS and AF leadership on error investigations, evaluation status, KOG status, and any number of other Stan/Eval initiatives - Performing an adequate number of proficiency shifts as a qualified KOS Operator - Supporting other efforts, as assigned - Ability to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance is a requirement for this position
Basic Qualifications - Must be a qualified KOS operator - Significant experience in working with real-time operational, satellite systems - Demonstrated experience maintaining situational awareness of satellite system activities - Demonstrated teamwork, communications, and inter-personal skills - Demonstrated ability to identify technical issues, and provide technical recommendations for system issues and anomaly responses - Excellent communication skills - Strong personal interaction skills - Must be able to work day, swing, and mid shifts
Desired skills - Demonstrated experience in the area of Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding (TT&C), Ground Control (GC), and Mission Management (MM) scheduling operations - Demonstrated experience with on-orbit satellite operations and direct service to Air Force customer - Demonstrated experience monitoring and analyzing satellite telemetry - Demonstrated experience maintaining situational awareness of mission management scheduling activities - Demonstrated ability to identify scheduling issues, and provide real-time changes to the mission management plan
